It was so much worse than that. Was motivated to read this because of reading Dyer's memoir "I Can See Clearly Now", and it was good, but if you've read other works that sound familiar, then maybe worth skipping. They are too busy being to notice what their neighbors are doing.
Ask yourself, "Instead of feeling guilty now, what could I be doing? This was a pretty decent through-going of a number of immobilizing emotions: No esta mal, supongo, pero creo que no era el libro que necesitaba lolololol. There are some parts to take with a grain of salt, but overall fairly helpful. The grass is always greener on the other side? Worry immobilizes you in the present about the future.
All-in-all, time well spent, but I lubro a lingering suspicion that I would have gotten more out of it had I read it, oh, half a decade or so ago. Open Preview See a Problem? You won't be punished for your anger, you'll be punished by your anger. Especially if you are sick, I suggest that you stop reading this book and others like that to save your life.

Now, I am probably not the right audience for this book. Lists with This Book. Many people will hate me for my review, others will be puzzled. Thanks for telling us about the problem. The audiobook is only an hour and a half, because it's abridged, but it's packed full of helpful information. I'm not one for social and societal correctness; I'm libto bad at it, actually.

So stop beating yourself up, compromise, disarm those who feed your negativity, and rationalize by taking nothing personally and start living your life the way you want and stop worrying about what others think of you. It has to do with self-worth yes, but it develops at school, in our culture, from our parents attitudes. Anyone with the courage to steadfastly decide how they choose to act.
The central theme of the book is your growth is hampered by some negative perspectives which are listed in the book. So maybe it erroneass be helpful for some people, but frankly I did not find it to be advice I would apply in my own life or recommend to others--at least, in the main. Esteem lies within you, not in other people.

Obviously, if he is right then much of what he says follows from it--but I am of the view that this life is just the opening chapter of eternity, and that what we do now matters in eternal terms.
